Zoologist Moth Extrait de Parfum is a unisex woody perfume. Created by perfumer Tomoo Inaba, Moth Extrait de Parfum evokes the habits of these fascinating animals (the moths): their days are spent secluded in camouflage, the intricate design of their wings hides them against a coarse background of bark and rocks. When they finally move, their flight is also hidden, shrouded under the cover of night. Moonlight ripples a delicate covering of tiny hairs as their feathery antennae guide them in their search for a mate. Only temptation can distract them from their search. Should they succumb to the flame’s pull, their desire to procreate could be snuffed out in a wisp of smoke and a handful of ashes. At first encounter, Zoologist Moth’s rich, gothic scent may surprise, but it soon hypnotizes. A heavy dose of dark spice shocks your senses before settling into a dusting of honey-sweet rose and powdered flowers. Slowly, it tests its wings, taking flight on an exotic journey of nagarmotha, guaiac wood and patchouli. Underneath it all lingers a smoky undertone that serves as a constant reminder of the danger within the tempting flame.
